What to expect in the BIKE WORLD:

The BIKE world provides you with support at the highest level:

• E-bike rental in Wagrain and Kleinarl
• professionally competent guiding by our partner JJBiking
• On-site bike service
• Bike shop

Only e-bikes are rent, from 20 "children's bicycles to hardtails (only suspension fork), fullys (fully suspended) and hardtails with a low step-through. Of course, it is also possible to rent a trailer from Thule (Chariot) with it nothing stands in the way of a family trip with the little ones.

Guided e-bike tours:

Pump it:
Visit the mountain bike skills area in Kleinarl directly at our location with a new pump track and riding technique exercises for all skill levels. Here you can learn the necessary technique in a playful way to ride the trails safely.

In the SternAlm you will be served in the best and friendly way. We rely on modern, home-style cuisine. It combines Austrian classics with current tastes. Regional suppliers, no finished products and real seasonality ensure your culinary #sternmoment.

Highlight of the SternAlm: the panorama winter garden with a view over the Salzach Valley – from the Kitzsteinhorn over the majestic Hochkönig to the Tennengebirge! How about an Aperol at sunset? A wonderful experience.

Ski & Wine Enjoyment Week from 14th to 21st March, 2026

During the skiing and wine tasting week from March 14 to 21, 2026, we offer our guests at the Sternalm some special highlights. 

Insgesamt 16 Skitouren, Steilabfahrten und Übergänge können von Ramsau am Dachstein bzw. ab der Bergstation der Dachstein Gletscherbahn befahren werden. Darunter auch Österreichs National-Skitour, die Dachsteinüberquerung nach Hallstatt. Diese Tour zählt zu den beliebtesten Touren in den Alpen und sind nicht allzu schwer. Auf einer 25 Kilometer langen Route von den Gipfelregionen des Dachsteins über die Simonyhütte und Gjaidalm führt die Tour hinab zum 2.000 m tiefer gelegenen Hallstätter See.

The boards that mean the world – in Wagrain those are skis and snowboards! Fun on the piste depends largely on the equipment – it doesn’t matter whether you are trying out the many varied pistes in the Sportworld amadé or just want to enjoy a ski holiday with your family.

Winter or summer: in our sport shop you will find the latest top brands for your favourite sport, but also the best value top deals. Convenience, quality and choice are important to us.

A focus of our ski rental area: ski rent on the top. The ski rental department offers you alpine and freestyle skis, snowboards, top quality ski boots and snowboard boots. And in summer we have mountain and e-bikes. Especially practical is our depot service. After an action packed ski or bike day, you can deposit your equipment here and collect it again the next day.

You will always get good advice from our ski rental experts. They will help you choose the right equipment for your ability, make sure you have the correct binding setting and ensure a perfect boot fitting. And then there’s only one thing left to do: get out on the piste and start your winter adventure!

We organise the equipment and reserve it for you. Upon arrival in Wagrain you can simply collect it from the shop or let us deliver it to your hotel. That’s what we understand by ski rental service!
