An experience of nature: Fulseck with thermals and happiness up on the peak
The mountain peaks of the Hohe Tauern are within easy reach, crystal clear mountain water, the scent of flower meadows and natural hospitality. With its varied hiking trails, the Fulseck in Dorfgastein offers both a hiker's and family paradise. There is also a sports and adventure mountain for mountain bikers, paragliders and Nordic walkers.
Excursion tip: Nature trail hiking to the power places of nature - power places are places or locations where increased natural energy radiations can be detected. An experience for the body, mind and soul.
Mirror lake with barefoot path and forest playground
A very special mountain adventure is hidden along the idyllic mirror lake:
Here you can feel the mountain with your feet on the barefoot path and thus enjoy nature in the most sensitive way. Oases of peace and special places to sit invite you to linger and relax. While the parents conquer nature barefoot, the children can have fun climbing, jumping and discovering at the adventurous forest playground.
Pure adventure on the Dorfgastein-Grossarltal bike lift
Thanks to the Dorfgastein-Grossarltal bike connection, mountain bikers also have the opportunity to use the Großarltal single trail. You ride your bike from Dorfgastein or take the Gipfelbahn-Fulseck lift up and then via the signposted mountain bike route to the start of the single trail at the Panorama lift top station in the Grossarltal. From there, two variants lead 10 km and 960 height metres down into the valley.
The Panorama lift takes you comfortably back up the mountain. Once at the top station, the signposted mountain bike route leads you back to Dorfgastein or to even more descents on the Großarltal single trail. This has a difficulty level of S1.
ATTENTION: The descent to the valley in Großarl is only possible via the single trail!
