The middle station for the “Rote 8er” gondola lift at WAGRAINI's Winter World is a special place for children to spend a day in the snow. Snowpark Alpendorf is a must-do if you’re spending a day skiing in Snow Space Salzburg. The Snowpark is yet another way to have maximum fun on the pistes in Ski amadé. A button lift right next to the Hochbifang gondola lift in Radstadt-Altenmarkt takes you straight to the edge of the forest, where parents and children can ski under a wide arch into Fichtelland Forest.
Filzmoos ski school’s children’s club looks after children from two years old. The Shuttleberg, with the Sun House, including the Family Run, is a wonderful experience for children. The “monte popolo” ski resort, which has already received multiple awards for its family-friendliness, offers appealing children’s activities.
Little ones can have fun practising their first turns on numerous adventure pistes and children’s playgrounds. The region’s highest point is a unique experience – the Dachstein Glacier has a suspension bridge, the Stairway to Nothingness and the Ice Palace to offer, and easy-peasy slopes too, as well as its stunning views.
Tip: Stop off at the Rösteralm for thrilling snowtubing tracks and regional dishes.
The Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel and Dorfgastein ski resorts have more than 56 km of blue slopes in total. And the local snowparks offer magic carpets, gates, rails, themed characters, a snowtubing course and much more.
Kids can look forward to many great adventures as they have fun learning to ski, accompanied by the Gastein valley mascot, Gasti.

A button lift, whisks novice skiers upwards quickly and comfortably. The wide, flat field is the perfect place to practise your first turns and, before too long, even novice skiers will proudly sail into the mountains on the Großarltal-Dorfgastein ski circus gondola lift, even if there is still so much to discover in the valley. A fun contoured run with snow tunnels runs parallel to the practice slope.
